Project Manager

Having been raised in Somersworth and being a graduate of Somersworth High School I have always had a special place in my heart for Somersworth and always wanted to give back in some way to the community that gave so much to me growing up. Working at the SAU 56 office as the Accounting Assistant for the last 16 years has given me the opportunity to be involved in the community in many different ways. In my role as Project Manager for the Somersworth Prevention Coalition I am excited to be able to give back even more and to help raise awareness in the community on substance misuse and prevention. For fun I like to spend time outdoors and experiment with new and interesting recipes with my family!

Nicole Turcotte

Coalition Coordinator

I was born and raised in Berwick, Maine but I have worked in the Somersworth School District for the past 7 years and look at it as my second home. I have been involved with the Prevention Coalition for the past 3 years as an Advisor for Youth 2 Youth both at the Middle School and most recently at the High School. I am also a member of the Diversion Board for the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office covering Somersworth and Rollinsford. Seeing daily the impact drugs and alcohol have on the city and our students makes prevention a top priority to me. Knowledge is power! As a mom of two teenagers staying informed and keeping other parents up to date is also very important to me. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two kids and my black lab, photography, and cooking. I look forward to this new role and the difference we can make as a community.
